Intel Warranty

How is Intel with their warranties? I've isolated a problem in one of my computers as being the CPU. It doesn't boot, but when I switch it with another CPU, it works. It's been less than 3 years since I bought it retail. Will Intel give me any troubles with it? tia.

Call them up. I had problems convincing them of my P4 problem, but give it a try. Intel even followed up with a survey. I only gave the tech a 4 out of a possible 6 rating, and that pissed off the Intel interviewer. At least they will answer your call within 5 minutes. Some places will put you on hold for 20 minutes or more.
