I have a virtual session of Ubuntu Linux ( 7.04) running ( under VirtualBox). I can't seem to get hardware virtualisation running on VBox, even after enabling it under BIOS and the settings for VBox. My host OS is Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Apparently I need hardware virtualisation so that my virtual PC appears as an i386 ( rather than i686) computer, before I can install programs such as blender, Kino,WINE etc. ( I know they have Windows alternatives/versions but I want to play with Linux)
