Can anyone direct me to an informative site that digs into Intel and AMD's CPU architecture (mainly a site that can fill in the gap I have in understanding how pipeline structure in AMD processors makes their CPU's compete with Intel CPUs that are clocked higher. PLEASE...I don't want any opinions from people who think they know their stuff. I don't mean to sound rude...but I want to read this on my own from a reputable site. I just want clear concise specifics that don't beat around the bush analyzing one CPU vs another in some kinda of benchmark test. I want the facts without the benchmarks in order to formulate my own "benchmark opinion". I would also appreciate a site that delves into the relm of current motherboard bus technologies that reviews bus speeds, widths and what gets shared with what on the same bus. Thanks

You're a life saver! I haven't read into the pipeline architecture yet....I got absorbed in the CPU cache section. This guy is great at drawing models for people to better understand a concept! Thank you VERY much!
