I just got an Intel VC820 mobo w/p3 1ghz and 128 rambus ram. I installed everything (i had an intel mobo w/my old p3 500mhz) the same way as my old board, everything was the same that fit except there is now an extra cord from the power supply which used to plug in the old mobo, but there is no slot for it in the VC820. Im not sure if this is the problem. This power supply is 200w output. Both of the rambus slots are filled, so that is not the problem. The extra cord which is coming from the power supply is black + blue in color and 2x6 in size. The power supply can be switched to 115 or 230 in the back. Help! How do i get this to boot??!

Ok i got this from intels web site:

Why doesn't my VC820 system power-up?
The VC820 requires 3.3 volts from the power supply, as well as specific requirements for power sequencing and limits. A momentary switch should be used for the power on/off switch and the sleep/resume switch. The power supply chosen must meet the ATX 2.01 or later specification. In addition the VC820 requires larger currents of 5 VSB to support the new features of the desktop board. Please refer to the Technical Product Specification and the Desktop Board Specification Updates for more complete information.

how do i check if my power supply does this?? Dell makes the power supply, and its a little over a year old (its the XPST500 system).
