I think this is a good thing for the PC and CPU industry as a whole....This is something AMD doesn't have the capital to do, but wil have some indirect benefits for them...
AMD needs to get capacity up to handle some of that demand for low cost cpus...AMD will likely not have the cpaacity of INtel anytime in the forseeable future, so ofcourse as this tremendou markets emerge AMD will not be able to feed them...INtel will win these anyways, at least they are spending the cash...

They are primarily interested in getting them internet access on cheap systems, and teaching them some basic skills, 3D gaming wouldn't even be a consideration.Originally posted by: zephyrprime
