DDR3-1066? What's the point of that? Same speeds as DDR2, only more expensive, and worse latency! What is Intel smoking?

PS. Does Nehalem take ECC DDR3?

But it's triple channel DDR3, so bandwidth is increased by 50% theoretically over dual channel DDR-2.
Also, we're not using DDR2-1066 at the moment for standard spec processors, 1333MHz FSB is DDR-2 667.

All LGA1366, but top-end clocks will be 3.2GHz.

Surprise to me is that only the 3.2GHz model will support DDR3-1333 and QPI rate of 6.4GB/s. The 2.93 and 2.66Ghz models will support DDR3-1066 and a QPI rate of 4.8GB/s.

All models will have 130W TDP.

IDC ima have to ask you for advice later this year.

I havent been following up too heavily on neha minus the fact it will be another skulltrail.

How much do you think its gonna cost for a rig like this on neha?

I am actually hoping to keep the tag below 5g's for this build, but its scaring me as more things are getting leaked.

Neha might break the 8g for the ultra high end.

AND WTF!!! 130W TDP?!?!!?!??!

Oh man, i predict uber migration to h2o when neha rolls around.

Just to let you guys know, Phenom is 125W TDP.

Q6600 G0 is 105WTDP.
QX6700 B3 was 130W TDP
QX9650 is 130W

This is a non QX chip @ 130W TDP!
