I got TAT (Intel Thermal Analysis Tool) for my E6400 running on a Foxconn 975X7AB, and i get this error after install. I've d/l'd it multiple times as well, so its not the file. I'm also not the only person to have had this problem and as of yet, its un-solved. Thanks for the help.

It is having trouble running CPUID on the CPU for some reason. Maybe the driver for the program isn't working, or it's vaguely possible you need Administrator access.

Maybe download from a different source? And reboot too? I swear, running stuff in Windows XP is like Voodoo and chicken bones sometimes... you never know what's gonna work exactly.

My current system will not run H.Oda!'s WCPUID.exe for whatever reason. It runs the WCPUCLK.exe no problem but when I go to run WCPUID.exe the system reboots. I'm sure it's probably a registry entry I could fix if I cared to but there are too many other monitoring programs to bother.

It's a shame for you though because I really think the TAT program is pretty decent for what it does although it's not the end of the world if you can't run it. I certainly wouldn't lose sleep over it. 😛

nah, my CPUID runs just fine and dandy. What i've googled so far, one guy fixed his by messing w/ his nvidia drivers, but he didn't have specifics.

Any suggestions on a good temp monitoring system?? I need one asap.
