Intel TAT only shows two temps with Q6600????

Hi,
I upgraded my E6750 to Q6600 and ran Intel TAT to check the thermal performance. I was surprised to see only two temps displayed when I expected 4.
I uninstalled and then re-installed, but still only 2 temps.

Core temp however displays temps for each of the 4 cores.

Can Intel TAT display temps for each core separately, and can I stress each core separately with this program?

Any help would be appreciated.

M Javid.

Yeah, the only good thing about TAT is that it can load the CPU even more than Small FFTs, but it can't even load all four for quads =/

TAT was made for core duo/solo, not actualy for core 2 duo, let alone for quad cores, so it's not going to show all the temps.

 Yeah, TAT is not meant to work for anything but dual-cores, and for mobiles at that.

B/C it was only meant for Core Duo mobile processors. Intel never thought it would be used for Core2Duo desktops, and I don't think are ever planning on making it for any other processor or ever updating it. I could be wrong though....
