Intel Stock Coolers - which is best? Or is there a diff?

Upgrading from e2160 CPU to an e8400. Planning to use the stock HSF for now, as I don't intend to OC for a while. I note that the e2160 heatsink is about 2x deeper than the e8400 heatsink. They both appear to have an aluminum contact with the CPU. If that's the case, would the old e2160 HS do a slightly better job cooling my e8400? Everything else appears to be the same...

either will do fine @ stock, but use the biggest of the two if all else is equal.

Nice, thanks for the quick reply. I figured the stock HSF would be exactly the same from e2160 to e8400...or at least that the 8400 would have a somewhat better HSF (like copper contact). But it appears Intel wanted to cut costs...not to worry. No OC for this until I get a heftier HSF. Thanks again.
