Intel stock cooler on AMD processor?

Has anyone ever tried using a recent Intel stock cooler on a recent AMD processor?

Since the fitting won't fit I think it would be interesting if somebody could still make the Intel Cooler fit on a 939 socket for example, probably someone with a modding talent.
 
one won't fit on the other (for the most part) some have kits that work on both. But why would you even care , and what would it prove ?
 
XP-120 is the best cooler, and it is compatible on both and has been tested on both. Having a really good cooler doesnt' really do much for A64's, your OC is not limited, for the most part, by heat.
