Intel SSDSA2M160G201????

what is the question exactly? which of those items are you talking about it?

all of three items in the link are the same G2 intel drives... 32nm, with TRIM.

SSDSA2M160G201 has new height and model #..... is that all?

it isn't new at all.

Intel SSDs from G1 came in three kinds. G1R5 is the retail version with an adapter bracket to fit into a 3.5 cage, it also comes with a thin piece of plastic around the top which increases its height by 1.5mm to make it fit more snugly in laptops.
G1C1 is an OEM version without the 2.5 to 3.5 adapter, but includes the 1.5mm height enhancer.
G101 is an OEM version, that comes without the 2.5 to 3.5 adapter and without the height enhancer.
the actual physical drive is the same in all cases.

With G2 intel kept the same nomenclature, they simply replaced G1 with G2 in each of these, but still maintain all 3 versions...
oh, and all 3 versions are available also for other sizes (eg, X18, the 1.8 inch form factor).
they were all released the same time too (release date of G1 and then G2)

the "SSDSA2M160G2XXX" is one I have never seen before. but it looks to be the same as the G2C1

look at this picture: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageG...20Drive%20(SSD)

do you see the black plastic around the top? that is the height enhancer that makes it fit more snugly in laptop cases. (since the drive is thinner then the standard).

BTW, now that I think about it, mine has a height enhancer made of white plastic, not black plastic...maybe that is what they changed 🙂
