My take home: The Current Intel X25m is the best deal for a laptop or small form factor PC where the goal is energy efficiency.

For the X25m the image and description appear to be the G1. However, there is no separate listing for the G2 and it seems that most Fry's are not selling the G1. Given this information it is difficult to believe that this is in fact a G1 Intel SSD rather than a G2.Here is a description on the difference between G1 and G2: http://www.anandtech.com/show/2829/11

Arrghhh!! Just went to Fry's near me, they had one left in stock @$159, sku is for G2R, went to checkout, guy went to secret cage and brought out one in a retail box BUT it had been returned, had that funny sticker on it (for $209 discounted)!!! Last one left.
I aint buying no returned HDD.

Good price for a reliable drive, I'm tempted to buy now instead of waiting for the price to drop more....gotta resist.
