Intel SSD firmware update was not faulty! You will never guess what it was!

I hope they address this and post the fix soon. My drive comes on Monday and I want to hook up, update and install Windows 7 :)

Well you don't really need a fix. The firmware itself is fine. That is not the problem.

Yes I understand that but the firmware and any installation software is not available to download on the Intel website.

So yes, we do need a fix. Intel need to sort out their issues and post it up on their website.

Yep, the "fix" in this case would be the correct firmware + loader software. As users, we don't care which one actually caused the error. Doesn't matter. What matters is they provide the correct versions of those two, whether they fix one or both.

Firmware is quite easy to get from people on this forum in a day or less.
