Yep! Each SATA drive goes to a different SATA port. Should be no problem. Then you need to tell BIOS which to boot from.

I am going to go ahead and tell you that you are wasting money. Core i7 and 12GB RAM but a GTX260. A 1KW PSU? Really? You don't need that. An SSD and a Raptor?

What exactly are you doing on this system?

He asked how to install both harddrives. I think he is too confused to answer your questions.

Yea..... you are probably right.

Oh well OP, have fun with your new computer. Just remember, if it doesn't fit at first, try using pliers, or a knife to trim it down, make it fit!

Thanks, Corkyg for your help.

And to reply to TheStu, I will be using this setup for photoshop which is a memory hog.

ROFL!
I like this guy already, welcome to Anand count.
Decide which drive you want the OS on and install. no probem, it's all a plug and play operation.
Don't sweat the teasing, all these folks are pretty damn good when it comes to it, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Thank You WoodButcher, now I feel Welcome. I won't sweat it. I'm trying to put together a rig that would be powerful enougth to handle photoshopCS. Though I am tempted by some of the new games, but I just want the most for my money. The GPU is still undesided, and I thought you couldn't have to much power, I did find the corsair 1000w at a good price

And Thanks again

Any computer from the last 5 years is powerful enough to run Photoshop CS. You don't need to spend a bazillion dollars to run a 2D image editor...

No kiddin with the sugar lol, your setup sounds right on. If you want to add another 260 down the line youre covered with that psu. As far as installing hdds I have my os on the raptor partitioned with 120 gig partition and 180 for misc. I use my ssd for paging file and applications eg your photoshopcs. Nice rig have fun
