Guys,

Newegg has the intel 335 onsale at 89.99 with the coupon code "MASTERPASS10". I didn't have to do anything special in the check out. I used the code and proceeded to pay with paypal, the final price is still 89.99 as confirm my newegg email and paypal emails.

While it maynot be the fastest SSD out there, I doubt any of us can see the performance hit in real life. Intel stands by its products.

There is something about these drives having great encryption too. Not sure if this is a value to home use, could someone please explain it better.

AFA I know full disk encryption puts another layer of security on your machine. If your machine is stolen a password is needed to access the data . One downside is when you create an image of the encrypted drive the entire capacity will be backed up
