anybody do this? in my wife's computer, i re-did some things and got rid of her raid0 velociraptors for steam (level 10 gt case won't allow them), and put in a single 2TB with an old 64GB x25-e drive i had laying around. her boot drive is a 240GB vertex 3. she was playing borderlands, and then exited and played more, etc, but nothing seemed to be accelerated. i know i selected the 2TB to accelerate, because it won't let me pick the ssd (duh). is there something i'm missing? everything looks legit in rst. i have it set to max (not enhanced).

Did you enhanced mode?
You need to benchmark it to see whether it really works or not.

tried it in enhanced mode and there's still no difference. doesn't seem like it's caching any of the games on the ssd.

Either mode seems working great for me.
I stay with "enhanced' for now.
What you need to do is download HD tune or some other HDD benchmarkers and run it with and without RST enabled.
Likewise doe the same for gaming. Pick the most or longest load time game you have on hand and run benchmark against it.
Good luck.
Send me a PM if you need help.
I have Gigabyte z68xp and Microcenter SSD 64gb (A-DATA branded).
