Hi,
I have a system with an Intel SR440BX motherboard and PIII-450 CPU, and am trying to look at what my options are for upgrading this system. I have the 'P10' BIOS, which, according to Intel's website, is the latest.
In particular, I am interested in using something like a 1.1G Celeron with it via a slocket.
Has anyone tried this? If so, which slocket have you tried and would you recommend, and pointers to where to buy would be appreciated. Also, what is the maximum speed Celeron or Pentium that I could run on this MB and a slocket?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
