My mistake My old motherboard was an Intel D815EEA2U. My current Board is an Intel D845GEBV2. Old habits die hard.

Well, according to Intel, as long as it has BIOS revision P09 or greater, it will support it: link.

Well, the SL6PG is a mobile Pentium 4 chip. I know the web page you are talking about and it's rather vague.

I used a mobile P4 2.0Ghz on an 845PE-chipset board from QDI, had it OCed to 2.4GHz using a 200Mhz FSB.
