I called the Microcenter near me before they closed. The guy took a while to find info but he said they have some things on the way. They usually get deliveries before they open and to check the website.

They are selling everywhere it seems here in Denmark and rest of europe.

Now if I could just find that EVGA board to see if it got what I want...

The z170 deluxe is on Amazon but its $320.00 im holding off to see what Microcenter and Neweggs price is.

Hopefully in a couple of hours everyone(mobo companies) starts putting info on their websites.

Obviously not final price. Although official MSRP from Intel is $350 for the i7-6700K.

Skylake looks pretty strong.

First Cinebench 11.5 result, ~10% faster than Core i7 4790K.

Better gaming result than 4C/8T Haswell here too (almost 20% faster!).

Very nice power as well, 77W.

They also hit 5Ghz.

System power consumption was 30W lower for Core i7 6700K vs Core i7 4790K in the new chinese review too.

Yeah I'm seeing some ASUS mobos on Amazon now but no sign of ITX .

That one is currently 257€ without VAT, or 282$. So sounds like 40$ (or more too high).

These Broadwell and Skylake reviews are making me feel pretty good about my 4.6ghz 3770K. I'll probably upgrade to Cannonlake E, or whatever their first 10nm E line ends up being called. Chipset features are the only thing making me feel left out at this point. Sucks having only 2 legit SATA 3 ports.

Thats USB 3.1 Gen 2.

There are 2 USB 3.1 types. G1 and G2. Only G2 is faster. Apple for example used G1.

Comparing multiple generations. Skylake-S Core i7 6700K is the first quad-core to cross the 10 points mark at stock.

Stock performance @ Cinebench 11.5 MT:
- 25% faster than Haswell Core i7 4770K
- 33.3% faster than Ivy Bridge Core i7 3770K
- 45% faster than Sandy Bridge Core i7 2700K
- 80% faster than Nehalem Core i7 965

Can you please provide a source? All roadmaps going back to 2013 don't have any reference about Broadwell parts replacing existing Haswell parts, other than the new segment (Iris Pro as a socketed lower-power desktop part at a premium price).

It is, yet it didn't replace Haswell on desktops, no matter how you try to spin it.
I can go on with this all day, I know you're just trolling but it's actually kind of fun.

Overall, Skylake is not an earth shattering leap in performance. In our IPC testing, with CPUs at 3 GHz, we saw a 5.7% increase in performance over a Haswell processor at the same clockspeed and ~ 25% gains over Sandy Bridge. That 5.7% value masks the fact that between Haswell and Skylake, we have Broadwell, marking a 5.7% increase for a two generation gap.
