Any idea why I am having my PII 300 register at boot as a PII 233? I confirmed it is a PII 300. I am using an official Intel board which supports the PII 300. I have tried various sticks of pc100 RAM to no avail. Even tried clearing the bios. It should auto detect and there are no jumpers on the board for anything other than the BIOS reset.
I also checked the BIOS and there is nothing there I can use.....
