I'm not sure what this technology is, but I got a new SSD yesterday and I've researched that I should get it because it'll improve performance. My question is how do I get it? When I open my start menu I see a menu that says Intel and when I open it it has Intel Rapid Storage Technology and Intel Control Center. When I click on Intel Rapid Storage Technology, it is only detecting my hard drive and my DVD drive. I am not sure why it's not detecting my SSD, because I'm using it as my OS right now. Windows Experience Index even detected it and gave me 7.9 for it. Can anyone help me figure this out please? Thanks!
Also whats the difference between Rapid Storage Technology and Smart Response Technology? Should I get both? I'm currently using just a hard drive and a Crucial M4 SSD 64GB
