Intel Rapid Storage Technology causing Unitialized Disk

I use my desktop as our disk clone/copy station and previously had been able to insert disks in and then clone then until I upgraded to the latest version of IRST because I added a 3TB disk that wasnt being properly recognized. Now when I insert disks they show up as Uninitialized in Disk Manager but IRST sees them fine. I assume it has something to do with IRST so is there a way to turn IRST off for that port so that windows handles the disk assignments?

I was able to resolve the problem by uninstalling IRST and allowing windows to use its native drivers instead.
