Intel QuickSync crashes OBS at high encode settings

I have Intel core i5 4670K, 8GB RAM. I am just testing out a good birate for 1080p and 60fps recording using OBS. I tried to record using 10000kb/s, it freezes OBS. Then went back to 8000kb/s, freezes again. Then I went further back to 3500Kb/s and only then it works. I went to the BIOS and gave the igpu maximum memory as well.

Anyone please help me? I also updated the latest intel hd driver just now.
