My next system (parts arriving on Monday) will be x64bit OS and 4GB. I will quickly upgrade to 8GB if all goes well. My reason for posting is to discuss memory errors that randomly occur and why motherboard makers are not making chipkill technology a standard feature. My understanding is that non-ECC DDR2 could be used. Even if not I think with today's 8GB boards that this is needed. Is Asus making any Intel P35 chipsets that support this?
