Intel Pro 2200 Problem

I have a intel Pro 2200 minipci card and I can get connect to my access point but cannot do any internet activity. It will say Connect to AP, and it will assign me a ip address but I cannot do anything. I am using Intels software and have the latest drivers. I sometimes can get connected to the AP and use the internet if I unplug it and plug it back in but it will stop after a little.

you are unplugging your minipci card?

What IP address are you getting assigned. I hope it's not 169.x.x.x

First thing is to back off all security (Open authentication, no LEAP/EAP/MAC, no WEP/WPA) and test, then add the layers of security, starting with encryption (WEP or WPA) then authentication (LEAP, MAC filtering) and finally add no SSID broadcasts and anything else.
