Does it apper after your windows is loaded? If it doesn't then take the boot rom out of the intel card. (should be a little square ship about 3/4 of an inche big).

hi again!

when I start my comp and press CTRL-S the menu comes up!

I just want to know what I should use?

THe chip should be on it or? why do I want to take it off?

Intel has software that (in DOS mode) lets you enable and disable that setup prompt (for hitting CTRL-S) during boot. I have no use for it on my Pro/100+ Management card in WinME, so I disabled it to decrease boot times.

The file might be called 100PBOOT.EXE (which is the one I downloaded a few months ago).
