No mention of the Q6400 cming on the market or the price slashes on 3220 and 3220 xeon sckt 959 chips....

I think the Q6400 and X3210 will and should be in the 400 dollar range if the Q6600 is 530...I will be picking up another quad core then...

My systems and PSU are ready for quad cores ...so I wont be building complete new systems but rather remove the C2D's and replace them with quads...

The first to go will be the E6400 which can do 3.5ghz at its highest but I like 3.4ghz for 24/7 operation...then the E6600 which can also do 3.4ghz.

Actually may get rid f 1 complete system and get a 1000watt PSU to place by crossfire setup with a quad core...Will use some liquid cooling n that as well...
Would love to get one of those OCZ phase coolers if they actually ever show up on the market...

Cool if true. I was looking to upgrade my system at the end of Feb, maybe the beginning of March...I may be tempted to wait another month and change if these price cuts get confirmed.

Duvie, I agree! Waiting for that OCZ phase change has been like waiting for Duke Nukem Forever. I don't think it's going to happen :(

Ah, I see - might as well concentrate on a couple of good systems! :)
