Wow that's awesome, I want one for my Athlon XP. :D

Seriously, size only matters if you're advertising for a Godzilla movie. It doesn't bother me one bit. It'll be inside your case and you won't even see it.

I'm actually surprised that nobody has come out with a heatsink that will accomodate a 120mm fan.

Man, I can only imagine the noise those things would produce. Considering that one looks like a hair dryer I suppose it would sound like it aswell.

Not necessarily; one of the advantages of making it big is that you can use a bigger fan, which moves the same amount of air with less noise.

When it is comes to HS/F....I don't think anything is overkill. What I believe to be overkill are compressor cooling systems (prometia).

That giant blue heatsink appears to be some kind of peltier or phase change system.

With no doubt, it is a active sink. It isn't a block of AL with a fan.

Not sure if u guys noticed but the big blue cooler is on an Asus K8V A64 Board notice the 3 RAM slots. NOT a Prescott board!!! Stupid Inq.
