it is true !!!

65 nm process Yonah dual core chips are floating around now and performance is BLISTERING not to mention awesome thermals !!!

Merom on 65nm also has working silicon !!!

Sassaman on 45nm has engineering samples and is a BEAST

AMD users get ready to sell !!!

Like dug777, Dothan is apparently living in the future, where it is already the second half of 2006.

He needs to travel back a year in time to 2005, where P4s are second-rate, including the dualies. Their warm glow will show him the way back.

you think it will be 2H 06 before Yonah ??? lol !!!

obviously it is AMD user living in the future dreaming somehow AMD can keep up with DADDY but sadly they can't and won't.

intel already rules the laptop market so it doesn't matter there, and their new desktop chip (Conroe) is not due until 2H'06. That's an intel slide from IDF.

OMFG 65 NM. Intel rocks. Its 65 NM processors will perform 26% faster than their current process (25/90). They will be able to run even more cores, and even more FSB and MHZ on the 65NM processes. Also I hear that Intel has plans for 100MB of cache. Cool isn't it? With 100MB of cache, no AMD processors can even compete.

Also, although none of you know this, I have an uncle working at Rambus that told me that Intel and Rambus are working together to develop dual-quadro channel ram. This will allow ram to run at 512Bits. This will allow Memory bottlenecking to be non exisant, and allow Intel to furthur increase its dominance over AMD. Also, I hear that they developed a way to make HT work even on non Deep non wide processors. They do this by fusing a processor with an old Pentium Pro. This way, the Pentium pro can emulate the yonah/memron/sossoman and act just like one of those chips. With Intel's new technologies and also with their new inovations, they will likely be unstoppable.

Ow ya and 45 NM will rock also. Double the performance of 90NM and also new technologies like an on die IDE controller, on die serial port, and on die PS2 connectors.

AND 45nm will have the on-die WIRELESS coffeemaker controller. Don't forget the important stuff here :p

the benchmarks are all over the internet go look for yourself !!!
Current dual-core benchmarks are pretty poor compared to single processors anyway but Intel is behind AMD in both scenarios.

your crappy AMD processors which will be worth less than a keychain once the new INTEL chips are out !!!
The only thing I'll be selling is my old A64 3200+ thanks to my new A64 4000+. :p

The question we should all be asking is why the mods have not banned this guy yet.

I thought they had, actually. But it's tricky banning someone with a time machine
