Last night I saw that the Intel Pocket PC web camera is priced at $69.97 at the Best Buy in Reston, Virginia. This portable web camera normally sells for around $130 each.

I didn't verify whether this was an error.

I have one of these dual purpose web cameras, and I can tell you this is one of the best USB web cameras available. Of course, you can not expect that the digital still pictures produced by these cameras will be as good as digital stills from stand-alone digital cameras.

69.99 at Circuit City too after a $50 and $10 mail in rebate. USB and takes up to 128 still photos.

If you have friendly CSRs at CC, this could be PM candidate. But last time I tried to PM this camera at either staples or compusa to $60 sale at BB, both refused to do it even though I had the camera and receipt from BB in my hands. No reason CC will be any better.

BTW, my BB (Rockville, MD) has the sign for $50 for this camera, but obviously none in stock.

While the $50 rebate is from Intel, it seems to be handled by the store. CompUSA has the CompUSA specific $50 rebate, so does CC. If someone could find the non-store specific rebate, that would make this a very hot deal.

I had the non-store specific rebate form, but it expired 5/31. I found it at the CompUSA in Gaithersburg, MD.

This is also going for 79 or 89 at Sams' with no PM or rebate ... don't know if that will be helpful in your crusade.

Here is another $30 rebatefrom Intel.

So the final price would be $40. But i am not sure if
this camera is worth that much plus u need 2 deal with 3 MIRs.

I saw a couple on the clearance rack at my local Target while looking for the Fuji camera deal. I don't remember the price though.

$30 rebate

The deal isnt $69.97 after rebate. It is $69.97 before rebate. BB constantly takes the price of these and throws them to 69.97 for a week then suddenly next week its way up to 129.99. I think i'll buy one for a cousin. Its really cheap and low quality pics but for kids its kinda cool.

in response to dude about the price @ target, i've seen it there (RECENTLY--wednesday) for $74.94--but it should be much lower, because it scans as "not on file" however good luck getting a target csr to understand this
