Think the Athlon64 3000+ has something to do with this ? Think Intel is feeling a pinch ? Even if you like Intel, you have to love AMD for getting you your CPU's cheaper.......

Yes i've been waiting acouple of months for this price drop to happen.

Will be ordering me a 2.8 or 3.0 first thing monday morning 🙂

What's the chance the A-64 will also get price cuts? . . . amd is known to follow intel's cuts with their own. 😉

I'm not so certain AMD will react promptly, the 3200+'s price just dropped like a rock with the appearance of the 3400+, and the 3000+ OEM is down to $205@ZZF.com and given the performance of the A64@stock speeds vs Intels line-up thus far they may feel it's already equitably priced. Besides I'm certain they are trying to keep profit margins as high as possible for as long as possible to help finance that new Fab their building. That's just my perspective so if it turns out to be the case I look wicked smart *because I'll remind ya*, and if it doesn't no one will remember 😛
