Intel Pin Mod

hey, if you press alt-4-m-ctrl 20 times in rapid succession, your cpu will automatically overclock to 4 times its speed, no matter what!!!!

So do you have an intel motherboard? Or do you have a brand like abit for example? If you have an intel board, this would be understandable and yes I've actually heard of this before but this isn't for a 915 chipset. What you've described is for the old P4s willamette because they were 400MHZ FSB and if you had an 850E chipset, you could bring it up to 533FSB.

Edit: forgot to mention that the 915 chipset FSB is 800MHZ.

I saw what I think he's talking about. Mod reg proc to EE version pretty easy.

Maybe it was HardOCP forum? I forget.

Yes that is the mod I am looking for. I have googled my butt off with no luck.

it cant be done on the 915, it hasta be done on a rig that supports the 1066 fsb, meaning the 925 chipset would be needed.

I was going by memory and thought it was the 915. Definately makes sense what you are saying. Thanks.
