Ya know, this is possibly true... when you have a stolen good you're able to sell it any price and make a profit.

Hey, I already contacted the seller (around the same time jehh did), and he's located in my city, I will try to do a phyiscal check on the goods. Maybe bring a computer to test out one chip out of the batch (That I'll buy). Well, the details are in the new thread. Actually, the reason the Athlon and 512MB sold for $2 w/ buy-it-now was probably to avoid fees. Agreed-upon price was probably much much higher. Just a way to save some money.

If they had a previous agreement, why would they go thru e*bay? Just to earn feedback?

Coldfusion suggested in another thread that you take a PC with Intel's Processor ID software installed on it to test the CPU's. I believe his suggestion has merit.
