sweet $10.00 off code is dead even though it is still on the site.

and now they have raised the price $10.00 , it really is a bait and switch deal.

Luckily i got in when the $15.00 off code worked and the price was still $103.00

so my total was $98.59 shipped.

FRYS is usually a ECS motherboard and is usually OEM not retail box CPU.

Good luck beating this price anywhere online, the CPU is $69.99 minimum, so finding a good motherboard for under $30.00 is pretty much impossible.

Usually they're Biostars now. Fallout I guess from that Fry's VP cutting private deals with suppliers.

the 5200 i got a month ago came with a microstar g31. they are usually biostar now (no more ecs) but they also occasionally have gigabyte. the frys deals have cooled off a lot in the last 6 months or so, but they still pretty regularly have 5200-5400 with board for 79. they used to sell 7000 series chip for that price or 99. i got an 8500 with board deal for as low as 129 and i got a 9550 deal for 229.
