Intel Pent Pro mobo with bad NVRAM?

I have a pentium pro mobo by Intel that I get a NVRAM error on when I start up. I just pulled it from a system that was running with no problems at all. ( I upgraded the system to a thunderbird 1.0 ) and I want to run seti on this 200. I pulled the battery out and checked it, and get 3.03v out of it on my multimeter. I cleaned it then put it back in, same thing. Anyone have any ideas?
