I have been having some weird problems when trying to use my webcam under windows xp.
Here's my system specs:
TBird 750Mhz
Asus A7V
256 Meg Stick of Cas 2 PC133 Crucial Ram
Asus 32Meg GeForce 2 MX (V7100T i think)
RealTek PCI Ethernet 10/100 Ethernet Card
SB Live 5.1 MP3+
Windows XP
Here's the problem. When ever I try to use the webcam (Intel PC Camera Pro) for anything (video capture, snapshots, or streaming with camarades software) it will work just fine for anywhere between 10 seconds and about 5 minutes - then it just stops working. I am using the only drivers that I know of; the ones that XP put on there when it detected it. I don't think it's my usb port, because I have a scanner plugged in too, and it works just fine. I don't know if it's the drivers, or the webcam, or XP or what. But if anyone else has had the same problems, or has any idea what i might be able to do, please let me know.
Thanks in advance
