Hey guys, I have been looking around message boards searching through the for sale sections and came upon this... How much would you offer to buy this? I understand it is pretty decent but is there anything I should know?

Hey guys, I'm buying a laptop and will not need my desktop pc as of 1/25/2005. EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW, but I have used the pc for about 3 weeks.

Price checks aren't really allowed on these forums...

Anyway, I would offer around 1100 US dollars:
200 for the CPU,
100 for the mobo,
70 for the HD,
75 for the RAM,
70 for the video,
60 for the case/PSU,
30 for the optical drives, and
500 for the software.

My estimates may be way off, I am really not familiar with intel parts and DDR2 RAM.

bendixG15...there was no price given to post. I showed what the original post said. The seller wants people to give him offers. I offered $700 and he declined.

The software is probably warez worth $0:

Since this person is selling warez they have no ethics, you shouldn't trust that any of the parts are in good working condition, or that you'll get the system at all.

This is basically a price check. Not trying to get you down, but if we start the price-check avalanche around here, it's going to be a mess.
