Hello,

i was looking at a website and they were advertising an intel P3 800MHZ 100FSB slot cpu and an intel P3 1000MHZ 100FSB slot cpu for the same price.

could this be an error? or maybe the 800MHZ cpu is more easily overclockable? different stepping?
i'am going to order one of these, guess i'll go with the 1000MHZ cpu.

The 1Ghz should come with 133MhzFSB and the P3 833Mhz starts at 133MhzFSB. Try for a 133FSB version if you can.

the description says that it's a 100FSB

as for the 133FSB, dont think my mobo can handle it, ABIT BE6-II. i'am looking for stability more then anything

Go for the 1 GHZ chip if they are the same price.
My friend has one on his BE6 2
it's stable..Not overclocked..
The BE6 2 line have nice O/C abilities, I had a 800E@1104 MHz totally stable for almost a year.

Go for the 1ghz CPU and stick with a 100FSB one, easier to overclock w/ just standard PC133 SDRAM.
