Looking for new setup. But can't decide which one is better P5E3 Deluxe X48, or the P5N-T deluxe 780i chipset, SLI but don't know if I'll need it. I'm looking to get the 8800 ULTRA and as of now either the Q6600 CPU or the QX9650 right away or play with some OC and go big later.
Any one Got any idea's or suggestions. I do some gaming when spare time, so graphics, cpu and memory are important.
Thanks
Teddy G.

do you need sli? the nforce 7 series isnt that great unless you want to go ddr3. honestly, i would skip ddr3 and just go for ddr2 for now. intel has a great chipset and nvidia is decent with their 680 series...

That's the point. the new intel x48 board is DDR3, while the new Nvid 780i is DDR2.
I thought that the Nvid might have better graphic performance then the Intel chipset. Correct me if wrong. The SLI could be nice if ever needed. The Intel is set up for the crossfire, UGH Ati. Had AMD and Ati rigs and got rid of them as I thought they stunk as compared to Intel and Nvid setups.
So any other idea's.
Thanks
