Intel NUC for cad ?

Hello ,

I am planning to get the intel NUC dn2820fykh. Need some info if this can run a cad like Autocad 2007 and maybe some 4-5 component 3d cad like freecad. No gaming!!

Will it work? Yes. It will do so at about the speed of a typical PC from 10 years ago, aside from being able to use an SSD. That's part of why it's as cheap as it is.

Autocad in 2D is not especially taxing unless you're going into big projects.

3D software is a completely different matter and the NUC is going to suck big time.
