Hi,
I was looking at getting an intel NUC DCCP847DYE model (the celeron one). I'll be using it for a few things such as MediaPortal for TV, with the most strenous thing being playback of remuxed blu-ray movies through VLC.
I've read conflicting information on forums such as whirlpool and so though I'd come here for a more expert opinion. It appears the processor is a dual core 1.1GHz and the video card isn't the same as the i3 NUC models, being a HD4000 or so. This made me a little nervous as blu-ray remuxes (MKV of the main movie with no encoding done to it) have very high bitrate and CPU usage.
It seems in AU the celeron NUC can be bought for around $180 versus the i3 model at $299 so I was really hoping the celeron model would do the job.
Thanks!
