i had problem with Intel PCI nic couple years ago (high ping in Counter strike ( 150- 200)
at that time, i just swapped it out and used 3com NIC, and ping was back to normal (10-30)
yesterday, i just tried my new mobo with onboard Intel NIC (using CSA port).. and i still have high ping.
i can put in 3com NIC, and i think it'll work fine, but just wondering if anyone have same problem? and if there's solution to it,
kinda sucks you can't use what you paid for..
