I'm thinking about getting either the Intel 2100 or 2200 for my Dell 4150. My question is does the 2200 drain more power than the 2100 since it does have a broader spectrum(?). Does anyone have a 2100/2200 + 4150 combo?
 
How do they compare with the Dell 1350 and dell 1400 wireless cards?

everytime I spec out a dell laptop, I wonder why they put so many choices, with so little price difference.
Do the intel ones use less power than the dell ones?

Or is it just centrino marketing to get the intel ones?

Does one get a better signal than the other?
 
i think the centrino marketing is what makes it more expensive. im not sure if reliabilty wouldn't be a factor too, with intel being more reliable than dells but thats just my guess.
