Intel mid-range GPU for 2020?

There is some article talking about the incoming Intel GPU starting at 200usd and that Raja said that Intel wants to do the same AMD did in 2016 to sell the highest volume price , so Does it mean we will get a similar equivalent to RX Vega 64/56 for 200usd?
if so. it wouldnt be too late if AMD and nvidia already have offering around that price? or he at intel designed something much better than current 200-250usd cards?

Have they said what process they're going to be using for their GPUs? Are they still going to have a process disadvantage compared to AMD/nvidia like they do currently against AMD's CPUs?

Appears to be Intel's 10nm, which yeah doesn't exactly inspire confidence. It is possible that future products could use a foundry node.

Raja doesn't decide price, Intel will. And knowing Intel, they aren't going to be in any hurry to move the price performance curve ahead. Atleast we will now have one more entrant in the gpu market.

Who exactly is Intel again?

As much as Raja likes to evangelize loudly, I really think he wants low prices. The RX cards shocked most with the list prices. Could Navi prices have been one of the issues with AMD's management?

RX480 $199 price was a marketing stunt as hardly anyone was able to buy one for that price. Maybe Intel might do something similar where they announce a really attractively priced version that you cannot buy.

Maybe initially when demand skyrocketed, but the prices soon fell to MSRP and lower in some cases. Please don't use the mining fiasco as a general rule.

Well, Intel probably could sell their stuff at loss or break even level to gain market share... After all, they have the money.

If Intel is coming out now and saying they are targeting the affordable mainstream video card market, to me that means they won't be able to compete in perf/w with Nvidia or AMD and high performance GPU's are out of the question. Juggernaut companies with virtually unlimited R&D don't go after lower margin markets unless they have no other choice.

I don't care if Intel can't compete at the top end. I just hope that Intel's mainstream cards will be good enough to kick the hornet's nest and finally bring the price/performance metric for the midrange cards to the sane levels again. Until then I'll probably be sitting out until end of 2020, I have a backlog of older games that my RX480 is perfectly fine for.

Update to the OP article:
"Update: PRO Hi-Tech has posted a snippet of Raja Koduri interview, without the Russian overlay commentary. What he said was actually: "...Eventually our architecture, as publicly said, has to get from mainstream, which is starting at around $100, all the way to data-center class graphics with HBM memory...". This means that the previous speculation about $200 graphics card is false, as he didn't say that. All he said is that Intel wants to enter the "mainstream" GPU market and work its way up to data center. "
