Intel is now selling an 'AMD K6-2' Celeron

A dual processor machine using two different types of processors! All in the convinent laptop form. And what a price on it too. A must have.

I really hope somebody got fired for that one. Okay, maybe I don't, but I really hope someone got laughed at really hard for that one! 😀

That's absolutely ludicrous! I've seen that in local ads here as well. I've seen the Intel K6-2 Celeron, Pentium-K6, etc. How do people get these jobs? LOL.

I've seen Athalon, which really bugged me.. I mean wtf,... ATHALON?? Where the fsck does the extra "a" come from? La-la-Land?

Calling a Celeron a P2 isn't as bad, since the Celeron is just a stripped down P2, but it's still annoying because the Celeron is NOT a P2, it's a seperate/different processor, and it should be addressed as such.

Some peoples' ignorance/stupidity when it comes to computers pisses me off... But I guess it's just because I have too much time on my hands and spend/spent too much time on these damned things. :disgust:

Earlier this year, Best Buy ran an ad featuring nothing but AMD-based Compaq PC's and they had the Intel Inside logo all over the place. It was hysterical. It just shows that the marketing department has no clue what's going on.
