So I have had my 3770K overclocked @ 4.6ghz for a year @ 1.325V
I just installed Windows 8.1 RTM with a legal key.
So the only thing new since I got the computer are Windows 8.1 RTM + a new videocard EVGA 780 Classified.
The 3770k is cooled with a H80i and it never goes over 65c even when running Prime95.
So yesterday when playing Saints Row IV the game suddenly crashed, I opened up event viewer and Event ID 19 had occoured 3 times.
This has never happened before, I have tried running Prime95, Memory Stress test, Valley Benchmark, Heaven Benchmark, 3DMark Firestrike, 3DMark Firestrike Extreme with no errors at all.
Could this be something else than my CPU or is it failing after 1 year with idle temps at 30c and load temp 65c?
Specs are
Intel i7 3770K @ 4.6Ghz 1.325V
ASUS P8Z77 V-Deluxe with latest BIOS
Corsair AX1200W PSU
G-Skill Ripjaws 16GB (other memory also tested)
Kingston HyperX SSD
EVGA 780 Classified Non OC with 326.80 Beta.
