Probably OEM vs. Retail. Could be a typo in CompUSA, TD and Circuit City sites.

can't tell ya. A lot of people ask the same question on google, but no one seems to know the answer, other than that this one is indeed a retailed 3770k. It is listed in Intel's product guide here http://embeddedcomputingsystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Intel_Product_Guide_Q1_2012-final.pdf
