Intel i5-430m vs. AMD P920

Looking to buy a laptop that will be used primarily with ProTools M-Powered recording software. Secondary uses are the usual: Web browsing, DVD watching, music and maybe some DVD encoding.

Which processor would be better for recording music? I can get either in a comparable system for $599 and that's pretty much the extent of the budget.

Opinions? Benchmarks?

Which I5 SB one or Arrandale? To me the best bang for buck option looks like the I3 Arrandale one no 51 on the list. Not too shabby yet capable of performing all tasks. And your intended use aint heavy most lappys can surf on the net and do some mp3 conversion bang a few Itunes numbers without a problem

I was talking about the Arrandale i5.

I ended up springing for a i5-480m with a bigger hard drive for $100 more.
