Not bad at all. The i3 totally hits the sweet spot I think. The lower clocks and lack of hyperthreading slow down the pentiums and a lot of stuff doesn't take huge advantage of 4 real cores. Great deal
 
Newegg has the i3-2120 for $100.99 (shipped). It is "refurbished" (whatever that means in context of CPU). I reckon the faster clock is worth the extra $11 and no waiting around for rebate. Even if one chooses "no wait" it still takes a few weeks and they deduct $2 or so from rebate amount.

I've been using an I3 in my desktop after giving up on my Athlon II X4/Asus M4A785TD-Evo setup (unstable for a month or so after adding some more RAM, then board died, had board warranty-repaired, worked fine for 4 months, died again, sick of dealing with its issues and just replaced the processor and board). The i3 has been fabulous.
