Intel helps Stephen Hawking

I read about this a while ago. It's really sad to realize that more and more of his physical abilities are degenerating. It's like slowly falling into a shell and you're just desperately trying to find a way to keep connected with the outside world.

What's *truly* strange is how he's lived so long.

My sister in law's father found out he had ALS about a year ago, and they're saying he's got maybe 6-12 more months to live.

Horrible, horrible disease. :\

He was given 2 years to live at 21, according to Wikipedia. I enjoy how he was on TNG, and also a common topic on the Big Bang Theory.

I'm not sure, how the military sources out it's electronics technology, but the fighter pilot, target by eye tech seems relevant. Though all this tech, probably relies on a heavy helmet.
